Darren gives us a run through of today's impressive game, in inclement weather, below:

It was a great start with Ger O'Connor kicking 2 penalties to go 6 nil up!!

15 mins into the game Rory O'Connor picked up a loose ball and ran the length of the pitch to score under the post with Ger O'Connor adding the extra 2 points!! 13-0!!

Lack of concentration and a bit of fatigue, we conceded a soft try under the post to make the score 13-7.

Ger O'Connor kicked another penalty to go in at half-time - A well deserved 16-7 up!!

With conditions testing the lads skills, they approached the 2nd half with great attitude and scored the first score of the half with a brilliant turnover against the head from Buccaneers scrum to give Fergus Killarney the opportunity to get over the line!!

Ger O'Connor again adding the extras!! 23-7

Buccaneers were not finished and scored a try to put us under pressure but again Ger O'Connor slotted a penalty to push us to a comfortable and well deserved win to kick off the league!! Final score 26-12
